Before you submit to Long Away & Far Ago, please take a look at our "About" page as well as some of the examples of retold fairy tales linked there to give you a better idea of what we're looking for. We accept short stories, poems, and illustrations. Our pay scale is $10 for a short story, $5 for a poem, and $7.50 for a picture. We are sorry that the scale is so low, but the journal is in its beginning stages and being funded out of the editors' pockets. We hope later to be able to pay our authors, poets, and artists more for their hard work. Until that time, we hope that you will have patience and help us get our journal off the ground. To submit to Long Away & Far Ago, please send an email to the editor at editor@longaway-farago.com. Please include the word "submit" in the subject line of your e-mail. In the e-mail, please include a cover letter, an explanation of what fairy tale you are retelling, and the text of your story in the body of the e-mail. No attachments, please.
